Unable to connect to sg.archive.ubuntu.com

Sometimes when you want to update your Ubuntu it gives you that error. Perhaps its because the mirror servers are down or maybe your network just can't access it.

In that case, you should try to connect to other mirrors accessable to you by doing so..

sed 's@http://sg\.archive\.ubuntu\.com/@http://archive.ubuntu.com/@' -i /etc/apt/sources.list

So supposing the sg.archive.ubuntu.com is back up again. You should therefore reuse this source.

sed 's@http://archive\.ubuntu\.com/@http://sg\.archive.ubuntu.com/@' -i /etc/apt/sources.list
